Mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) have taken off. They are being used professionally in many organizations (industry, public administration, finance service providers). These devices increasingly replace the traditional notebooks. They permit new processes. Mobile devices contain sensitive data today and provide access to sensitive services.

Mobile devices also have weaknesses, however, which lead to risks. We investigate mobile applications, analyze the implemented security mechanisms and identify existing risks. We also provide proposals for improvements where this seems necessary.
